On November 2, 2020, President Donald J. Trump issued Executive Order No. 13598, establishing The President’s Advisory 1776 Commission.
Not surprisingly, President Joe Biden unceremoniously revoked the measure on January 20, 2021 (just hours after his inauguration) via a one-sentence provision in Executive Order 13985, titled Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government.
The President’s Advisory 1776 Commission was established by Trump to “enable a rising generation to understand the history and principles of the founding of the United States in 1776 and to strive to form a more perfect Union.”
Before Biden shut down the Commission, it presented its first (and only) report “with the intention of cultivating a better education among Americans in the principles and history of our nation and in the hope that a rediscovery of those principles and the forms of constitutional government will lead to a more perfect Union.”

Although the report was issued more than two years ago, it remains critically relevant today. We are linking to it here out of concern that it may soon be “erased” as the culture becomes increasingly hostile to our Founding Fathers and the legacy they left this great nation.
