For the past three years, the members of Fox Valley Initiative (FVI) have financially supported LEAD Wisconsin, a summer camp program aimed at training the next generation in statesmanship, citizenship, and biblical worldview.

FVI appreciates the support it has received from all of you as we strive to encourage the next generation by supporting LEAD campers. One of our LEAD scholarship recipients, Elizabeth, will soon graduate from Hillsdale College, and she is already doing some outstanding work. Jack continues to influence his fellow students and Reagan, whom we supported last summer, has been interviewed on the evening news and has attended local city council hearings at least twice.

We are asking you to again support LEAD Wisconsin by joining its Giving Tuesday challenge!

The fundraising challenge is aimed at encouraging donations specifically on Giving Tuesday, December 3. LEAD is challenging its alumni campers/teens to give that day – not in greater amounts than we “old people” will give, but in greater numbers.

Please join this challenge! Use the “If you’re an adult” link below and donate $5.00 (or more).

About the LEAD Wisconsin Challenge

Sierra Cochrane, LEAD Wisconsin Director, explained the challenge in a recent email:

We are excited to mark 5 years of LEAD Wisconsin this summer! In the past 4 years, LEAD Wisconsin has impacted 292 teens with vital and relevant biblical worldview instruction, encouragement to be a leader, and the creation of lifelong friendships. … We’re inviting you, campers and adults, to celebrate 5 years of LEAD Wisconsin by giving $5 (or $25, $50, etc.) on Giving Tuesday. All donations given on that day will be matched up to $2,500!

But we’ve got a little competition too! We want to see who gives more: teens or adults. Don’t worry, the competition is based on how many individual donors give, not how much they give. So, if more campers/teens give than adults do, the teens win! So, start spreading the news and recruiting your friends. Your $5 creates an impact, even as a teen. If you’ve been blessed by LEAD WI, will you consider giving back and being a blessing to another teen next summer?

Together, $5 can create a ripple effect of impact and change. LEAD Wisconsin is only supported by donors and partners like YOU! Will you help us continue to empower teens by sharing your LEAD WI testimony or by giving to LEAD WI? You are welcome to give multiples of $5 such as $15, $25, $50, or even $100!

Give $5 on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 3, to celebrate 5 years of impact!
